Lingerie Care Guide

Washing & Drying Your Lingerie:
Unless one of our garments states “Dry Clean Only”  on its tag, you may gently wash it by hand. Be very careful with your lingerie and hand wash in lukewarm water in the sink using a gentle detergent such as Woolite™. Never use bleach on your lingerie. Lightly wring the item out to dry, being careful not to twist the garment too much. Then, lay your lingerie flat on a dry towel to dry. Do not hang up delicates to dry, as they may stretch out and be ruined, and never put any piece of lingerie in the dryer.

Steaming Your Lingerie:
When you receive a package from us, the garments inside will most likely have gotten wrinkled in shipment. Don't fret! It's easy to smooth them out & make them look as pretty as they do in the product pictures on our website. If you have a clothing steamer, that will work perfectly, but if not, you can use your trusty iron. Make sure there is water in the iron & use a high steam setting. Rather than pressing directly on the fabric of the garment, it's best to hover the iron about an inch over the garment to avoid scorching delicate fabrics or creating water stains on the garment that may be impossible to remove. Typically, the steam will make the wrinkles fade away almost immediately. Some fabrics may be more stubborn however, in which case you can press the garment with a press cloth or clean handkerchief placed on top of the garment (never touch the garment directly with your iron). If you have a bra with cups that have gotten a bit squished, you can use a tailor's ham or a folded towel to fill the cups & re-shape them while steaming.
