Austin is positively brimming with shimmying, sparkling burlesque talent! We support our fabulous local burlesque performers and get out and enjoy their shows as much as we can. We thought our fellow Austinites, and those who may be planning a trip to our lovely little city, might enjoy a burlesque events calendar. So here ya go! These are upcoming burlesque shows and the like that you will find right here in Austin, Texas. We try to keep this calendar as up-to-date and accurate as possible, but sometimes we inadvertently miss something. The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue is proud to present Burlesque Hall of Fame worthy performances, featuring 2012 Reigning Queen of Burlesque nominee, Coco Lectric and 2012 Best Debut nominee Ruby Joule as they give you a sneak peek of the shows they'll be bringing to Las Vegas for the Burlesque Hall of Fame burlesque competition, May 31-June 2.
The show also features future Burlesque Hall of Fame nominees Lady Luck of Las Vegas, Lilly White of Austin's Bat City Bombshells, Jigglewatts Pearl Lux and Goldie Candela, your host Nicole Lucas and our very own Jigglewatts Burlesque Bunnies!
A portion of the proceeds go to the Burlesque Hall of Fame.

Delia Dread wants to share her secrets of becoming a burlesque beauty! Whether you want to perform on stage or just spice it up in the bedroom, we've got you covered. This is also a perfect gift for that special someone to help release their inner showgirl.
This class
is for women (18+); for the beginner to the advanced, and everyone in between. We will go over everything from the history of burlesque to all the infamous dances like the bump and grind to the tassel twirl! This is an hour long class with 30 minutes afterwards to hang out, practice moves, and Q and A.
**You must have the following materials to take the class: boa, long gloves, pasties with tassels (adhesive), and thigh high stockings. If you have these materials you may take the class for $20. If you need the materials you may buy them and the class for a special bundle price of $70. (You will receive materials @ the class.)
