Take a look at my newest boutique crush, Austin's "couture consignment" shop, Lovely Austin! Just step inside the front door of this charming yellow cottage...

Above is a rack of adorable retro-inspired skirts and dresses from SavannahRed (my first Designer Crush), who was having an Austin Fashion Week showcase event at the time. Below is one of their many gently-used, super-cute and delightfully affordable ensembles on a mannequin. You wouldn't believe how many gorgeous items of clothing, jewelry and vintage goodies they have artfully packed into this smallish boutique. Amazing finds abound!

The owners of Lovely are quite lovely themselves, as I discovered when I got the chance to meet them at the SavannahRed event. They've summed up their philosophy this way, "At Lovely Austin we believe that our shop should be a reflection of the lovely people who live in this unique city. There are many things that are important to us; living elegantly and simply, doing our part to be green, and providing a space where women can come together to buy, sell and trade wonderful goods. Our collections are a reflection of these beliefs and we offer a variety of gently used fashions, eclectic jewelry and contemporary lines designed by talented local designers. It is our mission to redefine the expectations of consignment."

Be sure to check out this little shopping gem if you're in Austin! Lovely Austin is at 1506 S. 1st Street. Find out more about the shop, including how to consign with them, at LovelyAustin.com.
